Pernille Hohnen to be Laurits Andersen Professor at the Department of Anthropology
In recent years Pernille Hohnen has worked with global consumer culture and global marketing. Her current research also includes digital finance and changing business models and consumer relations in the age of Big Data and personalized marketing.
Pernille Hohnen has extensive research experience in Business & Organizational Anthropology and Economic Anthropology.
Since her PhD from 1998 on the development of market economy in post-socialist Lithuania, Hohnen has carried out a broad range of Danish and EU funded research projects on globalization, work & labour markets, international standards and consumption. Her comparative EU funded research has addressed work organization and organizational restructuring in the knowledge society and new and growing jobs in the EU.
In Denmark, Hohnen has analyzed International standards in organizations and businesses with a specific emphasis on certified occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS) in industrial companies and in municipalities. In recent years, Hohnen has worked with global consumer culture and global marketing.
