Three anthropologists will strengthen the department within migration, sustainability and social data science


Department of Anthropology appoints three assistant professors within the fields of migration and mobility, sustainability and entrepreneurship and social data science.

Department of Anthropology appoints three Tenure Track Assistant Professors, who each strengthens the department in important research areas.

Anja Simonsen conducts research within the field of migration and mobility.

Simon Westergaard Lex conducts research on sustainability and design of technology.

Samantha Breslin holds a BA in Computer Science, a PhD in Anthropology, and she conducts research in social data science.

- We are very proud to see such great interest in the positions, and with the three new appointments we are excited about strengthening the department's teaching and research within these timely and important research areas, Head of Department Helle Samuelsen says.
