Exams

All exams at the MSc Programme are written papers, except the master's thesis, which also has an oral defence. Here you can read a short overview of the exams at the MSc programme. For more information about the exam requirements see the curriculum LINK

Field Methods with fieldwork synopsis: The students submit a synopsis for the next semester's fieldwork or internship.

Employer Seminar I: The course is passed by attendance

Anthropology and People-Centred Business I: The students submit a small written assignment every week as well as a longer essay at the end of the course.

Optional module courses: Students pass the optional module courses by attending a minimum of 75% of the teaching as well as submitting an essay. The essay is a discussion of a problem relevant to the specific course.

Fieldwork or internship: The students submit a field report in which the fieldwork/internship is discussed with a focus on the fieldwork process and methods used.

Anthropological Analysis: The course is passed by attending a minimum of 80% of the teaching and by taking part in all of the weekly practical exercises, in which the students apply different analytical tools to their fieldwork/internship material.

Contemporary Anthropological Theory: The students submit an essay in which one or more directions in contemporary anthropological theory are discussed.

Anthropology and People-Centred Business II: The students submit a small written assignment every week as well as a longer essay at the end of the course.

Communication Seminar: The course is passed by attendance.

Employer Seminar II: The course is passed by attendance.

Master's thesis: The thesis is written on the basis of data generated by the student during fieldwork/internship. Students must present the results of an analysis that is contextualised and related to relevant theory.
