"What is this?" A guess game about ethnographic objects

Please join us for a talk on contemporary cabinets of curiosities, and help prepare an experimental exhibition of ethnographica.
The Ethnographic Exploratorium has acquired a small collection of objects that have been used in ethnographic exhibitions at the National Museum back in the 1980es.
Guess and judge
Setting out from a guess game about these objects we invite an informal discussion on the role of ethnographic objects and museums in contemporary anthropology. We also invite judgements about whether the objects should be exhibited in EE and in which form.
There will be participation from people at the Ethnographic Department, and Oscar Salemink and Inger Sjørslev will give short introductions.
