Change - transitions, activism and everyday life
Department Day 2025.
In a time of immense societal challenges in the form of climate change, war, political polarisation and other global challenges, change is both a lived reality and a shared aspiration. Anthropological insights and skills play a vital role in understanding and shaping these transformations.
At this year's Department Day, we explore how anthropologists engage with change - through research, activism, action-oriented collaborations, and everyday work in diverse professional settings.
All students, staff, partners, and friends are warmly welcome. The day will end with a shared meal.
Please sign up for the dinner using the following form: Department Day sign-ups.
2025 Master's graduates can also use this form to sign up to be celebrated on Department Day and receive their rose as well as our heartfelt congratulations.
We are very much looking forward to celebrating our fantastic department with you all!
