Atreyee Sen is awarded the MSc in Global Development Teaching Prize

Congratulations to Professor Atreyee Sen for receiving the MSc in Global Development Teaching Prize for 2024/2025.

According to the students’ review of Atreyee Sen’s teaching, 'Atreyee’s lectures were highly engaging, and she has a captivating style of teaching. She invited refreshing discussions in the class and included the voices of all students. She also included insights from her own research which made the learning process very enriching. She was interesting, knowledgeable, and clear in her presentations. We loved her course.'

Anthropology's Head of Department, Ayo Wahlberg, extends his congratulations to Atreyee: 'Atreyee Sen has consistently created exciting and safe learning environments in the classes she teaches both on our global development and anthropology MSc programmes. She encourages critical reflection, ensures that students are aware of a wealth of scholarship from around the world and takes care that students feel welcome to discuss and share thoughts in class.'

The MSc in Global Development at UCPH is an interdisciplinary programme that enables graduates to understand, analyse and navigate a new globalized reality. This program offers an international scope, reflected both in its curriculum and the diverse cohort it attracts, enriching the learning experience with a variety of cultural perspectives. Several anthropologists contribute to the programme, including Atreyee Sen.
