Ida Vandsøe Madsen is Teacher of the Year 2025 at the Department of Anthropology
At the Department Day on 26 September, Teaching Assistant Professor Ida Vandsøe Madsen was named Teacher of the Year 2025 at the Department of Anthropology. She receives the award for her ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment and for her thorough and well-structured approach, which provides students with valuable insights into complex issues.
Ida is recognised as Teacher of the Year 2025 particularly for her ability to translate contemporary societal challenges into meaningful teaching that both challenge and support students.
Her students highlight that she fosters a climate of trust, making it easier for them to ask questions, share ideas, and explore new perspectives.
