Applications are invited for four postdoctoral positions at the Department of Anthropology.
Two of the postdoctoral positions are part of the ERC funded SOLID project: ‘The Social Life of Dead People. A new ethnographic approach to migrant deaths in and around the Mediterranean Sea’:
Postdoctoral positions in Social Anthropology: The Social Life of Dead Bodies. A new ethnographic approach to migrant deaths in and around the Mediterranean Sea
This project seeks to explore which roles the dead bodies of deceased migrants play in the social world of the living as the different actors responds to migrant deaths.
Two of the Postdoctoral positions are part of the ANGLE project: ‘‘Anger Legitimised: Amplified Anger and its Rhetorics of Justification in the 21st century’:

The broader project explores how diverse communities that feel their anger has been delegitimised seek to perform, communicate and justify this volatile emotion.
